|Gary was born & raised in Independence Missouri. From a young age, he spent many summers with the family enjoying all that Lake of the Ozarks has to offer. After graduation, he continued fishing and boating every chance he could, thus Benton County became his second home. He obtained his first real estate license in 1976, working the Raytown, Mo area until he moved to Warsaw, selling in the then new Bent Tree Harbor subdivision. In 1991, he purchased a drive-in restaurant in nearby Cole Camp, and before long became known for his famous plate-size tenderloin sandwiches. And if that wasn’t enough Gary and his wife Mary started CoCaMo Realty in Cole Camp in 1995. While Gary mostly ran the Dairy Bar and Mary ran the real estate office, he still made time to continue in the real estate business, which he enjoyed so much. After several years, the opportunity came for them to sell their restaurant and realty office. Then in 2004, both Mary and Gary joined with United Country Lincoln Realty. In 2016, he was recognized by the Central Mo Association of Realtors with a Lifetime achievement award. It is clear that Gary’s devotion to get the job done and knowledge of the surrounding area is the reason he has been so successful as a realtor.|
